Energy Specialist Role

This key role focuses on delivering energy cost reduction and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives across all business units, including supermarkets, supply chain, and liquor.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, engineering, and procurement teams, as well as external contractors and partners.

  • Perform financial valuations for projects, track program costs, and assist in negotiating lease variations with landlords
  • Manage financial settlements and communicate project scope and timelines to stakeholders
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries about energy information, support the maintenance of emission models, and provide assistance to stores and team members
  • Compile data for energy certificates and handle PPA settlement administration
About You and Your Skills

We seek a professional with proven negotiation and influencing skills, and a demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze data and create reports.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, financial acumen, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Desirable skills include experience in business analytics, energy analytics, or operations, a tertiary qualification in Business, Data Analytics, or Engineering, and a strong interest in environmental sustainability topics.
