Cloud Cost Optimisation Specialist

Are you a seasoned professional with a knack for cost reduction and efficiency? Do you have a passion for driving innovation and improvement in technology and operations teams? We are seeking an experienced Cloud Cost Optimisation Specialist to join our team


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for cloud cost optimisation, projects, and resources to deliver maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and finance, to ensure accurate cost allocation and identify savings opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse cloud spend across multiple platforms, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP, to inform data-driven decision making.
  • Optimise SaaS platform usage and licensing to reduce costs and improve ROI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement FinOps best practices that support budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback models.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on cost-saving initiatives and usage trends.

Required Qualifications:
  • A background in Tier 2 Service Provider or similar industry experience.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cost management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML services and token-based usage models is a plus.
  • Experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or SaaS Optimisation role.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect technical and financial information in meaningful ways.
