Maintenance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to join our team on a Full Time basis. This role will allow you to utilise your knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Accountabilities- Maintain buildings, plant, equipment, gardens and grounds to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
- Attend to all reactive and preventative maintenance across the villages, ensuring that repairs occur in a timely manner.
- Coordinate trades and services to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor pest control and ensure that our villages remain free from pests and vermin.
- Follow all Workplace, Health and Safety standards and report any safety or security concerns to the Facilities Manager Property Services.
We're looking for someone with:
- General all-round handyman / maintenance experience (carpentry, small plumbing like tap washing, paint touch ups and roofing).
- Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively with residents, staff and external contractors.
- Trade Certificate or equivalent experience (desirable).
- Experience in working within the retirement industry an advantage.
- Full Open Drivers Licence.
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing.
