About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Handyperson to join our maintenance team at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. As a Handyperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and its facilities, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, fitting, painting, and general maintenance work in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Assist the Shift Engineer, Painter, Electrician, Fitter, and Carpenter as required, providing support and expertise to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems, adhering to quality standards and schedules.
  • Test and balance dosing systems for the pool and jacuzzi, ensuring optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, pumps, chlorinators, robot cleaners, and heat pumps for the swimming pool.

Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a handyperson or maintenance role, with a strong background in trade skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, contractors, suppliers, and guests.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining impeccable product standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
