Senior Account Executive, Captive Management Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our clients and growing our business in captive management.

AIG underwriting teams help find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. We are reimagining how we help customers manage risk, transforming our operating model, and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of captive insurance companies, coordinating all captive operations, including financial statement preparation, regulatory and corporate compliance on behalf of captive owners.
  • Lead relationship and communication with captive owners, service providers, and regulators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar.
  • A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA, or similar) is preferred but not required.
  • Related technical certification (ARe, AINS, or similar) or minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance management and financial reporting is preferred.
  • Excellent insurance accounting technical skills and experience in preparing financial statements under GAAP/IFRS and domicile statutory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple client reporting deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently to meet departmental client service objectives.
