A Senior Account Executive Opportunity in Captive Management

We underwrite insurance solutions in various areas, including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will manage a portfolio of captive insurance companies, coordinating all captive operations, including financial statement preparation, regulatory compliance, and communication with captive owners, service providers, and regulators.
  • Key Performance Objectives include:
  • Client Management: Be the primary contact for clients, prepare financial statements, ensure captives comply with regulatory requirements, and complete filings on time.
  • Non-Routine Client Management: Perform special requests for clients, such as preparing business plans, financial proformas, or analyzing new agreements.
  • Communication/Relationships: Handle day-to-day client and service provider communications for captive business operations and insurance programs.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.) is preferred but not required.
  • Related technical certification (ARe, AINS, etc.) or at least 3 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance management and financial reporting is preferred.
  • Excellent insurance accounting technical skills and experience in preparing financial statements under GAAP/IFRS and domicile statutory reporting requirements.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills to meet multiple client reporting deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently to meet departmental client service objectives.
  • Familiarity with IT applications like Excel, Word, Adobe-Pro, and Outlook in a Windows 10 environment.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and flexibility to take on ad-hoc projects as needed.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
