Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent & Culture Strategist to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Talent & Culture Strategies: Prepare and communicate annual talent & culture strategies to support business goals, drive employee engagement initiatives, and optimize workforce planning.
- Manage Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations functions, including industrial relations, award interpretation, employment contracts, position descriptions, performance management, and rewards management.
- Lead and Mentor Team Members: Provide coaching and mentorship to department heads on people management, lead and mentor team members, and offer guidance and support for professional growth.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis: Conduct annual training needs analysis and prepare a hotel training strategy outlining activities that meet hotel and departmental operational needs within Accor guidelines.
- Manage Rewards and Recognition Programs: Manage rewards and recognition programs, ensuring effective promotion around the hotel amongst team members and management as per Accor guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in senior-level human resources management roles within dynamic and busy environments, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Skills: Strong understanding of HRIS systems, comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and exceptional communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Additional Requirements: Unlimited working rights in Australia, flexibility in hours worked, and a professional image with high standards of grooming and presentation.
