This role involves providing direct patient care, advocating for access to services, and collaborating cross-culturally to address health disparities and promote wellness.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will conduct initial health and social needs assessments, care planning, and case conferencing for newly arrived individuals and families.

Key responsibilities include coordinating client healthcare by liaising with services, schools, and providers, facilitating access to interpreters and transportation support, involving clients and carers in decision-making, and promoting social connection and integration.

To succeed in this role, you will have AHPRA Division 1 Registered Nurse registration, minimum of 2-3 years' experience in primary health care settings or as a Refugee Health Nurse, strong grasp of community health, human rights, and trauma-informed care principles, demonstrated understanding and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds, traumatic experiences, and unique health challenges.
