Water and Sewer Operations Coordinator

The Water and Sewer Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the management of technical enquiries and delivery of services related to Council's water and sewer systems.

This permanent full-time position involves leading and coordinating the Technical Services Team, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused outcomes through close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will oversee the management of technical enquiries, provide expert technical guidance, and supervise staff in alignment with Council's values and safety standards.

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in implementing Workplace Health and Safety requirements, combined with strong technical expertise in water and sewer operations.

  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to prioritise and respond to technical enquiries using risk-based criteria.
  • Technical expertise in responding to development-related enquiries and providing accurate, timely advice.
  • Advanced knowledge in asset management, including contributing to Asset Management Plans, assisting with contract scoping and procurement.
  • Supporting day-to-day operational activities by providing technical guidance, coordinating resources, and ensuring service delivery meets safety, quality, and performance expectations.
