About the Job

This permanent full-time position is based at Moruya and involves leading and coordinating the Technical Services Team. The successful candidate will oversee the management of technical enquiries and the delivery of services related to water and sewer systems, collaborating closely with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to provide expert technical guidance.

The role also includes supervising staff in alignment with safety standards and supporting after-hours activities as required.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in implementing Workplace Health and Safety requirements combined with strong technical expertise in water and sewer operations. A sound understanding of relevant industry standards and development application processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to deliver services efficiently and safely.
  • Manage technical enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Supervise staff in line with Council's values and safety standards.
  • Support after-hours activities as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in WHS and technical expertise in water and sewer operations.
  • Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise in responding to development-related enquiries.
  • Advanced knowledge of asset management principles.
