About this Opportunity
Contribute to a purpose-driven organization by leading the Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC) function at a strategic level, driving enterprise-wide initiatives.
The ABAC Lead will set the business direction for ABAC, developing and implementing an effective framework that meets regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to drive proactive and timely resolution of potential risk exposures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive ABAC framework, ensuring compliance and effective operation of policy standards and controls.
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO DRIVE ADOPTION OF ADEQUATE ABAC PROCEDURES.
- Leverage industry research into best practice in ABAC ethics and current and future ABAC compliance obligations in all relevant jurisdictions.
- Provide functional leadership, ensuring ABAC is supported with people and technology enablers.
- Lead a team that exemplifies ethical excellence, innovating to address emerging risks while delivering key ABAC framework activities.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualified with extensive risk management experience, specifically in ABAC in financial services.
- Effective strategic collaboration and influencing skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with executive and senior internal stakeholders.
- Thought leadership, informed on ABAC industry and regulatory developments, able to interpret evolving regulatory requirements into adequate ABAC procedures.
- Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional and risk-based manner.
