Imagine making a meaningful impact in the lives of people who need support. As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in managing tenancy functions across our residential housing portfolio.

The Opportunity

This dynamic role involves effective management of end-to-end tenancy processes, including actioning leases, bonds, tenant charges, inspections, and vacancy and end of tenancy procedures. You will also liaise with stakeholders, such as tenants, families, and government agencies, to provide support for SDA claims/service bookings and NRAS reporting processes.

Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in tenancy management, a sound knowledge of residential tenancy legislation, proficient MS Office skills, and competency with systems databases. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also essential. Additionally, you will need a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Desirable

Prior experience in the Disability Sector, Community Housing, or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) tenancies would be highly regarded. A NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, current and unrestricted driver's licence, and up-to-date vaccinations against Covid-19 are also required.
