THE ROLE
As the Tenancy Program Manager - Housing, you will provide strong, visible leadership across a portfolio of housing teams. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you'll oversee tenancy services, support and coach team leaders, and ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act. You'll also play a key role in managing escalated matters, including representation at VCAT, while embedding a culture of collaboration, accountability and service excellence.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven leadership experience, ideally managing through team leaders in a housing, tenancy, property management, or community services environment
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and experience in VCAT representation
- Ability to develop, mentor and empower leaders to drive team capability and performance
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills
- High levels of resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to trauma-informed practice
