Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our community as a Risk Management Specialist.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and compliance of our community.

The Risk Management Specialist oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of risk management frameworks, Work Health and Safety systems, and compliance obligations.

The position also manages the planning and approval processes for school excursions and off-site activities, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks and WHS systems.
  • Manage compliance obligations and ensure alignment with legal requirements.
  • Plan and approve school excursions and off-site activities.
  • Investigate incidents and develop strategies for improvement.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk management, WHS, compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or not-for-profit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, privacy, workers compensation and risk management frameworks.
  • Current registration with the relevant regulatory body.
  • A strong commitment to Christian values and principles.
