Job Title: Compliance and Governance Expert

The Governance, Assurance and Secretariat unit plays a vital role in an organization's Finance and Assurance team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing secretariat services for senior committees.
  • Developing frameworks and guidance materials for governance and assurance, including training programs.
  • Managing internal audit services.
  • Supporting the CFO with meeting obligations under relevant legislation and reporting requirements.

This role involves developing and implementing an organization's Assurance Framework, including overseeing compliance activities in line with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an Assurance Framework.
  • Oversee compliance activities in line with the PGPA Act.
  • Provide secretariat services for senior committees.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for governance and assurance.
  • Manage internal audit services.

  • Relevant skills and experience in governance, assurance, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
