Specialised Dementia Care Professional

About the Role:
HammondCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialised Dementia Carer to join our team at Caulfield. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents with dementia, helping them to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including showering, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Support residents with dementia to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Experience working with people with dementia and their families.
- Knowledge of dementia care principles and practices.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care or a related field (desirable).
