Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care and support to residents, including showering, grooming, and toileting.
  • Life Engagement: Engage residents in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Dementia Support: Provide support and care to residents with dementia, including recognizing and responding to changes in their condition.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other care team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Requirements
  • Passion for Caregiving: A genuine passion for serving elderly people and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
  • Flexibility: Ability to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Teamwork and Initiative: Value teamwork but also able to work independently and show initiative when needed.
  • Dementia Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs.
  • Certification: Applicants with Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care would be viewed favorably.
