  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Support residents with dementia to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in dementia care.

Requirements:

  • Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
  • Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Value teamwork and be able to work independently, showing initiative and a proactive approach to care.
  • Have knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs.
  • Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care, or be studying towards a healthcare-related degree, would be viewed favorably.
