About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team at CPB Contractors. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve design and construction plans, schedules, and method statements to ensure constructability and compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress against the programme and budget, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
  • Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications.
  • Prepare accurate project reports and provide written reports on engineering activities as required by the Project Manager.
Requirements
  • A recognised degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience as Senior Project Engineer level managing major multi-disciplinary trade packages on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
  • Leadership ability to provide mentorship to direct reports.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning and reporting on progress, cost, and risk.
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to health and safety.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
