About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the technical aspects of the project delivery, including the integration of project activities to ensure the completion of projects on time and within budget and to the required quality. With an ability to understand the critical path on the project, you will be involved in identifying key construction methodologies on the project that require detailing with project staff, design and subcontractor input to ensure an agreed plan is in place to avoid delaying the project.

As the successful candidate, you will need to be a self-starter who is highly motivated, well-organized, and committed to the highest possible work standards and safety. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage engineering disciplines and subcontractors on projects ranging from $20M - $50M.
  • Plan and manage project activities to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including identifying key construction methodologies and detailing with project staff, design, and subcontractor input.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environment best practices.

Requirements


  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the construction industry, including structures and building experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience, including planning up to 4 weeks ahead and weekly against cost and time.
  • Demonstrable understanding of safety, health, and environment best practice.
