Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in our CBD Head Office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the success of our organization.
About the Role
- Present at onboarding sessions to new employees and ensure they have a positive start to their employment journey.
- Plan and allocate work for new starters, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and commitments.
- Maintain regular communication with new employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Attend sites as required to facilitate positive first experiences for new employees and provide ongoing engagement.
Key Requirements
- Solid understanding of organizational dynamics and employee engagement principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain quality and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Experience in planning or mobilization within a similar sector is advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy, with the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and programs.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Able to lead, coach, and mentor new employees towards successful outcomes.
- Genuine empathy and care for employees.
