Job Summary

This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of complex and major loss insurance building projects, leveraging industry-leading technology and systems to ensure seamless project execution.

About the Position

As a Major Loss Supervisor, you will review each project to determine deliverables, schedules, and cost estimates, negotiate and draft contracts, and manage relationships with insurance representatives and loss adjusters. You will also engage and coordinate trades to complete projects on time and budget, while analyzing and managing risk related to workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review each project to determine deliverables, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Negotiate and draft contracts, obtain required permits, and communicate with consultants
  • Manage and grow relationships with Insurance Representatives and Loss Adjusters in the region
  • Engage, schedule, and coordinate trades to complete projects to time and budget
  • Analyze and manage risk related to WHS, develop contingencies to mitigate delays
Requirements
  • Strong experience supervising building works or experienced insurance supervisor
  • Extensive knowledge of building codes and WHS, with a commitment to safety
  • Great communication and customer service skills, with a caring and professional approach
  • Microsoft Office experience, with ability to learn user-friendly systems including mobile apps
