As the Assistant Service Manager, you will support the OSHC Service Manager to lead and manage the service, ensuring operation in line with government regulations, legislation, National Quality Framework, and organisational requirements.

A key focus of the role is to support the Service Manager to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, increase commitment to the PCYC brand, and inspire a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Service Manager to lead and manage the OSHC team
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations, legislation, and organisational requirements
  • Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships to increase commitment to the PCYC brand
  • Inspiring a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in childhood studies or other qualifications recognised by the regulatory authority
  • Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary OSHC team
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing OSHC operations
  • Hold a Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or able to obtain)
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
