Lead Veterinarian Position at Greencross Vets

We are seeking an experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our team at Greencross Vets in Palm Beach, Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in veterinary practice management and leadership, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a talented team of veterinarians and nurses.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of three veterinarians and five nurses in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and improvement in patient care and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the practice.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the veterinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best-practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including staff supervision, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnostic services, surgery, and medical treatment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and improve client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Degree registrable with the Queensland Vet Surgeons Board.
  • At least 4 years of clinical experience as a veterinarian.
  • Registration to work in Australia (or eligibility for vet registration).
  • Previous management experience or willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role.
