Job Summary

The Pension Technical Operations Analyst will play a critical role in time-sensitive reporting and manual payments, collaborating with various departments within Equiniti's retirement solutions to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Acting as a focal point for technical queries and ensuring compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations, and pensions legislation.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance while contributing to the design and development of new approaches and solutions aligning with business and client needs.
  • Producing technically sound processes and procedures, collating and analyzing data to produce solutions, and maintaining awareness of other business activities.
  • Maintaining flexibility across different departments, identifying service improvement opportunities, and participating in ad-hoc activities as determined by the Operational Manager.
  • Executing daily client reporting and manual payments.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and proven track record of quality and timely delivery.
  • The ability to develop positive and productive working relationships and computer literacy with a willingness to learn various systems.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with experience of trade dates/box management preferred.
  • Prior experience as a pensions technical analyst is essential.
