About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pension Technical Analyst to join our team in the UK. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the success of our business.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering time-critical reporting and manual payments, collaborating with various departments within EQ Retirement Solutions to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a focal point for technical queries related to pension schemes and industry regulations
  • Ensure compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations, and pensions legislation
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on pension-related matters
  • Contribute to the design and development of new approaches and solutions aligned with business needs
  • Produce technically sound processes and procedures for pension-related tasks
  • Collect and analyze data to create effective solutions
  • Maintain awareness of other business activities and work collaboratively across departments
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and efficiency enhancements
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Operational Manager
  • Manage daily reporting to clients and perform manual payments
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and procedures
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Proven track record of quality, timely delivery of results
  • Computer literacy with a willingness to learn various systems
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Prior experience in trade dates/box management is advantageous
  • Previous experience as a pension technical analyst is essential
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Salary Breakdown: £35-45/hour (equivalent) x 20 hours/week (full-time equivalent)
