The Role: Business Development Manager
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships and market expansion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and expanding our presence in the international money transfer market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new markets and customer segments
- Client Acquisition: Proactively source leads and acquire new retail and corporate clients
- Strategic Partnerships: Build a strong agent and partner network
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue targets through effective strategies
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with international regulations
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market and competitor research
- Reporting: Provide regular sales and performance reports to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in business development within financial services (remittance, banking, fintech)
- Strong understanding of the foreign exchange/remittance market and financial regulations
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
