Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Engineering and Production teams to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. You will represent the organization in a professional and honest manner, manage project labour and material costs, and maintain company ISO accreditation.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in welding, engineering, or manufacturing, with a strong focus on WHS practices and demonstrated experience as a team leader/supervisor/operations role. Project costings/forecasting experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff to provide a safe, productive, fair, and happy working environment.
  • Project estimates/costing and assist with Profit and Loss reporting.
  • Equipment procurement and management of project labour and material costs.
  • WHS awareness and responsibility to provide a safe working environment.
  • Continuous process improvement and maintenance of company ISO accreditation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in welding, engineering, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong focus on WHS practices.
  • Demonstrated experience as a team leader/supervisor/operations role.
  • Project costings/forecasting experience (desirable).
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Work Authorisation in Australia.
