Key Responsibilities

The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting the team on the floor, and upholding service standards throughout each shift.

Pivotal responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining seamless daily food & beverage service across outlets and events, ensuring guests leave satisfied.
  • Collaborating with Supervisors to provide hands-on training to the team, focusing on customer service, menu knowledge, dietary needs, and drinks.
  • Supporting the team with guest interactions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring feedback is handled efficiently.
  • Assisting the Finance team with stock control, stock takes, and accurate billing for guests.
  • Ensuring the team presents themselves professionally, adhering to grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Working closely with Kitchen & Front of House teams to maintain seamless service flow.
  • Championing team development through ongoing coaching and training.
Requirements
  • Previous leadership experience in a food and beverage outlet or conferencing setting.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards and guest expectations.
  • Confident communication skills with excellent interpersonal and team support abilities.
  • A positive, professional approach with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Flexibility, organisation, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
  • Experience using Micros, Opera & 7Rooms highly desirable.
