Overview

Join Redcape Hospitality as an Assistant/Duty Manager at The Sun Hotel. You will be part of the Venue Leadership Team to successfully run the hotel's operations in a hands-on role that includes FOH and BOH duties.

Role Purpose
  • To lead through Redcape's purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on key performance metrics.
  • To support the Venue Manager in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team that delivers extraordinary customer experiences and drives venue performance.
Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Work cohesively as a member of the Venue Leadership Team, taking carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience.
  • Lead a variety of internal teams to offer outstanding customer experiences.
  • Maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation.
  • Create and nurture a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.
  • Fulfil rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with the hotel's operating hours. Visit the website for more information: www.thesunhotel.com.au
  • Required: RSA, RCG, RMLV & Approved Managers Licence.
  • Previous experience in high-volume kitchens and a comprehensive understanding of Gaming Operations.
  • Experience with entertainment, community engagement & high-volume beverage operations (late-night & weekends) would be an advantage.
