About the Role

Golding Contractors is a leading provider of project management services in the mining, urban, and civil infrastructure sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team at Curragh Mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and develop a business improvement culture, mindset, and passion across the mine site.
  • Ensure risks and issues are mitigated through effective relationships with stakeholders and provide support governance and distribution of insights to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to advocate and implement change and improvement across process and capability, as well as identify and monitor leading and lagging indicators to enable early identification and management of operational challenges.
  • Coach, train, and support site team members in the use and implementation of Golding's Business Improvement framework to drive business improvement.
  • Work across the site to assist in the delivery of Continuous Improvement projects (Golding-wide and Site Projects).
  • Challenge stakeholders and teams to maximize opportunities from business improvement initiatives and support the capability enablement of these opportunities.
  • Support cross-departmental teams to deliver improvement initiatives across the mine site, present findings and recommendations with confidence to key stakeholders and senior leaders across the business.
  • Facilitate workshops and provide specialist improvement advice to site teams to identify and resolve specific issues that are critically impacting business outcomes.
  • Review work regularly, provide meaningful feedback, hold self and team members to account, and recognize effort.
  • Proactively build and maintain positive working relationships through teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in work practices and foster a climate of positive change.
  • Carry out all work safely and in accordance with correct operating procedures.
  • Complete all tasks and duties as reasonably requested by the leader and key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in business, engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Specialist or similar role.
  • Additional training in Continuous Improvement Systems (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
