We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team in the Brisbane and Greater QLD region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in roadworks maintenance and works, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in undertaking resurfacing, earthworks, pavements, and drainage works.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the assessment of tenders received and provide recommendations.
  2. Review and assess Construction Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Traffic management plans.
  3. Undertake surveillance activities on Construction Contract works and provide certification and verification.
  4. Conduct CAS Manual audits and provide provisions.
  5. Report on project progress, issues, and performance.
  6. Compile finalization documentation and assist in the compilation of As Constructed detail.
  7. Document Lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
  8. Assist with the development of future planning for program of works.
  9. Direct, monitor, and guide less experienced staff in their duties.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia.
  2. RPEQ accreditation is highly desirable.
  3. Minimum 10 years' experience in roadworks maintenance and works.
  4. Experience delivering Open Tender/RMPC/Minor works contracts and familiarity with TMR specifications.
