Job Summary:

AAMG is seeking an experienced Asset Reliability Engineer to join our client's coal mining operation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance department to execute various projects focused on plant reliability and asset improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor plant condition on ageing assets to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Develop and implement reliability, condition monitoring, and asset technology strategies.
  3. Collaborate with the Maintenance department to execute projects and improve plant reliability.
  4. Identify and address unreliable plant equipment to minimize downtime.
  5. Provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  6. Conduct photo analysis of plant and equipment to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Offer technical advice and guidance to team members.

Requirements:

  1. Mechanical Engineering qualification or relevant trade qualifications and experience.
  2. 2 years post-qualification experience in a site-based mechanical or reliability role focused on mobile equipment.
  3. Demonstrated experience working with Heavy Mining Equipment.
  4. Advanced Microsoft and Excel skills.
  5. SAP experience is highly desirable.
  6. Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
