Role Overview

The role of Financial Controller involves delivering financial reporting, compliance, and fiscal management to a group of entities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage financial activities responsibly, ensuring legislative policies and organisational objectives are met.
  • Oversee cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and senior managers to identify and implement financial improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, supporting effective business partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in preparing statutory accounts, preferably in a government agency environment.
  • More than 10 years' experience in finance, including leading the preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasting.
