Senior Financial Strategist

The Senior Financial Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the organization. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to stakeholders.
- Lead the finance team and mentor staff members to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Manage all aspects of financial operations, including cash flow management, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial risk mitigation.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial reports, statements, and other documents as required by regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive financial experience, including at least 5-7 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Proven ability to develop and execute long-term financial strategies.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
- Experience managing audits, tax filings, financial statements, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish and track KPIs and other metrics to monitor organizational performance.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for conservation, education, and environmental impact, with a strong understanding of nonprofit financial dynamics.
