Role Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in translating the bank's global sustainability agenda into local strategy, driving meaningful action and integration.

The incumbent will support the coordination and execution of key sustainability projects, pilots, training initiatives, and other strategic endeavors.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the modern slavery working group, engaging stakeholders globally, drafting the modern slavery statement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Additionally, this role involves implementing and overseeing the delivery of the modern slavery action plan, developing project plans, providing project management for key sustainability initiatives, leading administrative functions, supporting analysis and input into country sector plan reporting requirements, and facilitating communications and engagement activities across the business.

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or tertiary qualifications in environmental science, agricultural science, sustainability, or relevant disciplines, along with experience in the finance sector, sustainability analysis and reporting, development of sustainability strategies, and ESG policies.

Highly developed knowledge of MS Office Suite, Power Bi, and data analysis skills are also essential, as is project and workflow management expertise, excellent communication skills, and strong written communication abilities.
