Meat Department Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Department Operations Manager to join our team at Costco Wholesale. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Meat Department, ensuring that it runs efficiently and effectively.
Job DescriptionThe Meat Department Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing sales and merchandising plans to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction;
- Overseeing the scheduling, training, and performance management of Meat Department staff;
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality customer service;
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed;
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards;
- Providing leadership and guidance to team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a meat department or similar environment;
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting and butchery practices;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Basic math skills and proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
