Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of meat department staff
- Develop and implement effective ordering and cost control strategies
- Ensure accurate staff rostering and efficient use of resources
- Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive shopping experience
- Collaborate with management and team members to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
- Significant fresh food retail knowledge and experience in meat management
- Excellent leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to coach, train, and performance manage team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with team members, management, and external stakeholders
- Commitment to work health and safety standards and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
