Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee all building facilities activities, including preventative and reactive works, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Contractor Management: Manage on-site contractors, including induction, performance monitoring, and task completion, to maintain high-quality services.
  • Health and Safety: Collaborate with Head Office H&S to foster a culture of safety and oversee all facilities-based legal and compliance activities.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance plan to ensure compliance items are met, reducing downtime and improving overall efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the formulation of budgets and regularly monitor P&L performance against targets, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in general property and grounds maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing installations, and building maintenance.
  • Leadership: Prior experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance department, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving results.
  • Qualifications: Trade qualification as a Mechanical Engineer, Electrician, or Plumber is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills with staff, owners, tenants, and contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Certifications: National Police Check (completed within the last 3 months), at your own cost, and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
