Job Description

">

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Graduate Engineer to join our team as a Facilities Engineer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance across a wide range of electrical and refrigerated machines.

">

Your duties will include overseeing repairs and managing preventative maintenance schedules/programs across plant and equipment in a temperature-controlled food storage environment.

">

You will also support the site management team by facilitating capital works and major projects, ensuring standard contract management processes are implemented and complied with.

">

In addition, you will assist with the implementation of initiatives to improve site safety, including conducting risk assessments and coordinating safety audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering">
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, OH&S regulations and cold storage principles">
  • Proficiency in using hazard and incident reporting systems">
  • Able to ensure staff understand and operate to the required Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)">
  • Must be available on call after hours">
  • Advantageous skills: Any exposure to refrigeration will be highly regarded">

  • Corrective actions: Ensure corrective actions and investigations are assigned and completed by the due date">
  • Safety audits: Coordinate safety audits and assist in the implementation of corrective actions where necessary">
