Job Description

This role involves overseeing the management of specialist assets, specifically dams, with a focus on ensuring their safety and performance. As the Specialist Asset Manager, you will play a key part in developing and implementing processes that guarantee world-class outcomes for our dam safety framework.

You will lead the development and implementation of plans to ensure continued delivery of superior results from our dam safety portfolio. This includes collaborating closely with the Principal Dams Engineer and other dedicated professionals to design and refine short to medium-term programs of work.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert technical advice as a subject matter expert in asset management throughout project delivery and oversight of project intent.
  • Organising and leading dam safety and other asset class condition inspections, design reviews, engineering analysis and risk assessments.
  • Developing and reviewing surveillance regimes and responding to, analysing and interpreting collected data and physical observations from field staff.
  • Monitoring and reporting on compliance with regulatory obligations and duty of care requirements for dam safety.
