Project Coordinator - Defence Sector

RPS Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our Defence team on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a major Defence project, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for a motivated individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the project team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project tasks.
  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and site visits, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, minutes, and action items.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Australian citizenship and holding or be able to successfully obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as construction, engineering, or project management, is desirable.
  • Experience in a project coordination or management role, preferably in the Defence sector, is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to think strategically, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Australian Citizen and able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Ability to provide evidence to confirm vaccination status for COVID-19 to meet our client's vaccination requirements in accordance with government regulations.
  • 1+ years of experience in a project coordination or management role, preferably in the Defence sector, and familiarity with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (would be preferable, but not essential).
  • AIPM Accreditation or equivalent would be advantageous.
