Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our team in the Central Northern Territory region. As a Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our client's site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, lodging, training sessions, and induction programs to ensure compliance of all candidates before mobilisation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain precise records and correspondence.
  • Generate reports to oversee and maintain compliance.
  • Efficiently manage rosters.
  • Liaise with labour hire companies for seamless project execution.
  • Assist with payment portals and processing purchase orders.
  • Ensure all administrative functions are performed to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project administration, ideally within mining or resources/construction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with INX Workflow, SAP, and Coupa is desirable but not required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in administrative and financial software systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Current C-class driving licence.

This is a long-term contract role with a top-tier mining company located in the Northern Territory. The position involves FIFO arrangements from Darwin and reports to the Project Superintendent. You can expect to work 12-hour days with a highly competitive salary. The role includes a 4-day workweek (Monday to Thursday) and offers a friendly team atmosphere. The camp is conveniently located within walking distance of the mine, with a short 2-minute bus ride available if needed.
