**Aged Care Governance Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, contributing to the governance and oversight of our emerging aged care provider in Melbourne. Our organization prioritizes independence, dignity, and professional care for every resident, creating inspiring and supportive environments that put people first.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape growth and transformation from the ground up, influencing the future direction of our boutique aged care provider. You will play a critical role in governance and oversight during a period of sector reform, working collaboratively with our highly experienced and values-driven Board team and advisory team.

About the Role:

Provide independent governance oversight and guidance to the Governing Body, contributing to strategy, risk management, and compliance with the Aged Care Act & Quality Standards. Attend Board meetings (plus preparation and occasional calls), helping to shape a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation in aged care.

**Requirements:**

  • Board or senior executive experience in residential aged care;
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in residential aged care at board or senior executive level;
  • Strong understanding of director duties, compliance, and risk management;
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and sound judgement;
  • Courageous, collaborative, and values-driven, with integrity and emotional intelligence;
