Senior Aged Care Governance Professional

We are seeking a Senior Aged Care Governance Professional to join the Board of an emerging aged care provider in Melbourne with development underway and a strong pipeline for growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape growth and transformation as a member of the Board. The ideal candidate will have aged care governance experience through board director roles, executive leadership positions, or regulatory compliance expertise.

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • ">
  • aged care governance experience;">
  • board or senior executive experience in residential aged care;">
  • a minimum of 5+ years experience in residential aged care at board or senior executive level;">
  • a strong understanding of director duties, compliance, and risk management;">
  • strategic thinking with commercial acumen and sound judgement;">
  • collaborative, courageous, and values-driven behaviour with integrity and emotional intelligence.">

What We're Looking For:

As a member of the Board, you will contribute to strategy, risk management, and compliance with the Aged Care Act & Quality Standards. You will attend Board meetings (plus preparation and occasional calls) and help shape a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation in aged care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent governance oversight and guidance to the Governing Body;">
  • Contribute to strategy, risk management, and compliance with the Aged Care Act & Quality Standards;">
  • Attend Board meetings (plus preparation and occasional calls).">
