Job Title: Quality and Clinical Education Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Quality and Clinical Education Support Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing quality, clinical governance, and education support to our residential facilities and home care services.

  • Provide high-quality, clinical governance, and education support for residential facilities or home care services.
  • Promote contemporary practices across Residential facilities to support adherence with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, legislation, and accepted industry practices.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the organization's quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:

You will have the following key responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to promote best practice in clinical governance and education.
  3. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as necessary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A current Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Enrolled Nurse General with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency.
  • A current driver's license.
  • A Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE40110) or willingness to complete same.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
  • A minimum of three (3) years post registration/enrolment clinical experience.
  • Evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality systems.
  • Working with learners using adult education approaches.
  • Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Relevant State and Commonwealth legislation.
  • Principles of continuous quality improvement, clinical governance, and person-centered care.
  • Aged care clinical assessment and management tools.
  • Aged care documentation requirements.

Desirable Qualifications:

The following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • A postgraduate qualification in adult education, aged care, palliative care, or mental health.
  • Aged care funding instrument and associated documentation requirements.
