Networks and Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a skilled Networks and Cybersecurity expert to lead our team in executing focused consulting engagements with valued customers across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Manage a team of diverse highly skilled engineers and consultants while executing on individual projects.
  • Mentor team members to ensure their success in completing assigned Assessment, Audit, Design, and Implementation projects within Network, Security, Virtualization, and Wireless areas of expertise.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive collaboration skills to manage a team and work effectively with peers, clients, and vendors.
  • Strong mentoring capabilities to expose team members to opportunities that aid in the growth of their skills.
  • Vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to aid in interaction with peers, team members, and internal/external customers.
  • Strong commercial skills, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple diverse projects.
  • Experience in reviewing documentation associated with Assessments, Audits, Design, and Implementation projects to provide recommendations against industry standards.
  • 'Hands-on' experience in designing and deploying Networking, Virtualization, Security, and Wireless solutions within process automation and/or discrete controls environments.
  • Solid technical skills with IT/OT Converged architectures, specifically around assessment, design, and implementation of complex systems.

This role requires:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology-driven degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong domain knowledge in cybersecurity preferably in the OT environment.
  • Team-based mentoring skills within a highly dynamic environment that promotes strong growth within its members.
  • Extensive hands-on experience configuring IT/OT equipment (Cisco Switches, Cisco Firewalls, Virtual Server Environments, Anti-Virus Software, etc.).
  • Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations.
