**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioral insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 3 month contract paying up to $850 p/d + Super. This role is located in Parramatta / WFH. Multiple roles available

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Network Development Leader with a leading NSW Government agency.
Key accountabilities include:
- Identify traffic, safety and network performance issues and lead the development of network projects
- Examine and assess traffic management plans and provide expert advice on major road and road related capital projects to ensure optimum traffic flow performance and network integration during construction and operation.
- Collaborate and interface with Sydney Planning and other relevant stakeholders as required to ensure specific projects are developed in line with defined corridor strategies and address immediate to short term network performance issues that have been identified and prioritised.
- Utilise network performance benchmarks and KPI's to enable appropriate, evidence based decision making.
- Guide the assessment and selection of project nominations and proposals to ensure the optimum solutions are fully developed to meet the objectives.
- Monitor and promote best practice to ensure projects are delivered with mínimal impacts on traffic flows and are in the intended scope, budget and timeframe.
- Participate in community consultation at major planning and project meetings to ensure customer engagement in the decision making process. Provide feedback accordingly in relation to programs and projects for media and ministerial enquiries and community response.
**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in civil or traffic engineering or a related discipline or demonstrated extensive relevant experience.
- Extensive demonstrated experience in the investigation and development of complex traffic, safety and congestion projects.
- Proven experience in assessing major road and road related projects in their development or construction including the ability to engage motivate and supervise the work of specialist staff and consultants.
- Demonstrated experience in transport systems management, interpreting traffic modelling, an understanding of road network modelling and traffic engineering practice to improve traffic flow.
