Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Your primary duties will include performing routine inspections and repairs on buildings and equipment, as well as implementing maintenance policies and standards to prevent misuse of property appliances. You will also ensure that properties are safe and free from any hazards that could pose a risk to occupants, visitors, or workers.

  • Inspect buildings and equipment regularly for needed repairs and improvements.
  • Perform necessary preventative maintenance and repairs on the property as needed.
  • Implement maintenance policies and standards to prevent misuse of property appliances.
  • Ensure that properties are safe and avoid any danger to their occupants, visitors, and workers.
  • Clean and prepare vacated buildings and rooms for new occupants to move in.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective delivery of information. Prior experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications
  • Mechanical skills to handle minor repairs and fixtures.
  • Knowledge of electricity to diagnose electrical problems and carry out minor repairs.
  • General maintenance skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills for effective delivery of information.
  • Prior experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
  • HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification.
