We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Production Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of water resource recovery assets, ensuring protection of the environment and compliance with Environmental Protection Licences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team, identifying areas for performance improvement to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Operate and maintain plant equipment in alignment with Water Resource Recovery frameworks, including health and safety requirements, quality and information management protocols.
  • Conduct daily plant performance testing and adjust process control parameters as necessary.
  • Perform on-site process and asset checks using available systems, processes and procedures.
  • Manage onsite safety and works coordination through implementation of safety procedures.
  • Participate in projects associated with the plant, including condition assessments, project prioritisation, design reviews and collaboration with project teams.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge and extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Trade qualifications or equivalent experience, including electrician, instrumentation specialist or mechanical.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle with flexibility to travel across various locations.
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster, including day shifts, after hours standby and weekend roster.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn customised software packages.
